Every Day We Fight Bus Depot

An environment concept for a post-apocalyptic bus depot area for the turn-based tactics game Every Day We Fight. We knew we wanted to have a car repair shop or bus depot inside of an old Victorian-era warehouse. So I got to work delineating some potential theme areas within our gameplay space, and I started finding some cool shots within the block-in inside unreal. Then I did some research sketches based on those shots exploring the potential look, feel, and content of the area, looking at props, alien stuff, weapons, etc. Eventually we decided to go for a more overview type shot so we could see as much of the depot as we could in one shot. then came deep exploration of the time of day lighting, materials, and specific architectural details like the crane and pillars to sell the mid/late 19th century look.
